Mississippi River Trip

I didn't notice how good this photo was for months. I thought this bald eagle was blurred out, and when I finally looked at it, not only was it perfect, I caught him bringing his lunch home. If you zoom in on this photo you'll see his lunch in his claws.

This was one of the coolest sunsets I had ever seen. It was perfectly silent out at the marina in LaCrosse, Wis, with the exception of the very slight puttering of a boat approaching (bottom left).

This is what it progressed to as it went on.....

Another houseboat beached on an island on the Mississippi. This was a REALLY cool trip to take.

Approaching the old railroad bridge where the people who had our houseboat the night before, literally took the top of the boat off because they went under the wrong side of the bridge.

This was a converted '37 Tug" on it's approach to Winona, Mn. What a cool little boat.
