Canadian Pacific Holiday Train visits Pingree Grove - Dec. 4, 2010
The International tour of the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train stopped in Pingree Grove yesterday and what a perfect day to show up. The first real snow of the season was perfectly accented by over 150 local residents along with a light, steady falling of the white stuff you would naturally associate such a happening with a Winter event. The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train was nearing the end of it's Midwest run, touring through the U.S. and Canada with various performers. This performance was the Canadian band "The Odds" Bluesing it up with special guest, Kelly Prescott.
They performed for about 20 minutes before packing it up and heading out west to their next stop in Genoa.
Hopefully the next time we're able to catch the Holiday Train, it'll be dark and we can actually see it, lit up. ;-)
