South Elgin Train v Car - Jan. 21, 2011
The driver of the Mitsubishi had to be extricated by South Elgin firefighters after his car was involved in a collision with a freight train engine.
The extricated driver was transported to St. Joes. Extent of his injuries are unknown.
The train pushed the car into the parking lot of Tredup's Auto Body, and into another vehicle who Tredup's had just notified, "their car was done and could be picked up anytime." They have to call him back now.
