West Dundee Extrication Accident - March 4, 2011
An unlicensed driver crashed into a vehicle at Eighth & Strom this morning in West Dundee. Carpentersville Fire Department assisted West Dundee with the extrication of the passenger, an elderly woman. A Red Chevy Blazer type vehicle fled the scene, but not before someone wrote down the license plate information which came back to someone on the east side of Carpentersville. It was only a few minutes until Carpentersville Police went to the address and found the vehicle parked in the driveway with fresh crash damage.
The driver, an unlicensed male, was arrested and taken to Carpentersville PD.
