Rutland-Dundee / Pingree Grove Feb. 20, 2008 - Extrication accident on Rt. 72
Rutland-Dundee and Pingree Grove firefighters battled -25° wind chill while extricating an elderly man from a pickup truck, which collided head on with a cargo van on Rt. 72 this morning.
Once extricated, the patient was flown via REACT Air Ambulance to the hospital.
The patient was conscious and talking to firefighters during the extrication.
