Cville FD Residential Fire Merrywell Ct.
A quite little court in the west side of Cville became every homeowner's nightmare when a little fire, quickly became a very dangerous one.
At 3:41 this afternoon, the homeowner on Merrywell Ct. made it out of his home and got his dogs out when a fire apparently started on the side of the home and quickly spread into the eaves, then into the attic. Once in the attic, the fire can go anywhere and spread quickly throughout the house but Carpentersville Firefighters from Station 3 were able to contain the fire at least til more help got there. Carpentersville crews from stations 2 & 1, West Dundee, Rutland Dundee and Algonquin Fire Departments assisted.
Just now, at 5:49, crews were re-dispatched to the home where the fire may have rekindled.
No one was injured.
