Carpentersville - Mother & Child hit by vehicle - Sept. 13, 2012

A mother and her young son were transported to Sherman Hospital this afternoon when they were hit by a vehicle on C'ville's NE side. The mother was reportedly losing consciousness or in and out of consciousness before CDF arrived on the scene. It's unknown how serious her injuries were. The child's injuries did not appear life threatening.
