Pingree Grove MVA w/extrication - Sept.10, 2010

3 vehicles collided in the intersection of Plank Rd. & Rt. 47 this afternoon, sending one vehicle into the cornfield with 2 people trapped in the car. 2 people were extricated from that vehicle in the cornfield and transported to area hospitals. One patient was taken by LifeLine helicopter which landed in the middle school football field 1/2 mile from the scene and was transported to St. Anthony's in Rockford. Burlington and Hampshire Fire also assisted Pingree Grove FPD.
