Dundee-Crown Prom Night Sim 05-02-07
A chilling re-creation of a "could-be" Prom Night at Dundee-Crown High School in Carpentersville, complete with extrications by the Carpentersville Fire Department. The event also included an all too real removal of a patient to a Flight For Life helicopter.
Illinois State Police were also there with an impressive demonstration of what happens to a body in a roll-over accident. They brought their tricked out, "rolling cab" Ford Ranger pick-up truck, complete with a low-rider kit (I'm assuming they have a gazillion watt sub-woofer under the bed cover too! ;-).
The event went well and really appeared to have an effect on the students present, not to mention the students who portrayed the victims. 2 of which ended up inside body bags.
