Hanover Park July 16, 2008 - MABAS Division 12 EMS Box for injuries from fumes at a school
Initial call was for a CO Alarm with 20 people feeling ill. HPFD immediately pulled a MABAS EMS Box for ambulances from surrounding towns and upon arrival, found students and employees from the Empire Beauty School at 1166 Lake Street in Hanover Park.
9 people people were actually transported to area hospitals but there was no CO levels found in the building, but someone did say there was a "bad odor" in there, most likely from the chemicals in use. The School is open again.
